CEDAR FALLS, Iowa 鈥� Omaha women's soccer broke through for its first win of the 2026 season Thursday afternoon, shutting out Northern Iowa 1-0 at the UNI Soccer Field behind a second-half goal from Kendall Dobberstein . The Mavericks improved to 1-1 on the season with the road victory, while UNI fell to 0-3. Omaha and Northern Iowa went toe-to-toe through the opening 45 minutes, with both defenses standing strong to send the match into halftime scoreless.
