The Vancouver Whitecaps have added some youth to their back line. The team announced the acquisition of 20-year-old Colombian defender Sebastian Ramirez on Thursday. The young import joins the Whitecaps on loan from Fortaleza CEIF of Colombia's Categoria Primera A through 2027. Through 46 appearances and 26 starts, Ramirez has tallied three goals across all competitions for Fortaleza. He's also made four appearances for Colombia's under-20 youth national team.
