The Official Website of Georgia State University Athletics HOMEWOOD, Ala. -- Georgia State fell 1-0 on the road against Samford Thursday night at Samford Track and Soccer Stadium. The Panthers dropped to 1-2-0 overall following the defeat. Georgia State kept Samford off the scoreboard in the first half, thanks to a couple of saves from goalkeeper Alondra Iriarte. The Bulldogs finally broke through in the 77th minute when Samantha De Luca finished a ball that had hit off the crossbar. The goal proved to be the difference.
