MILWAUKEE – The Marquette University men's soccer team started the 2026 season with a 2-2 draw against Oakland on Thursday night at Valley Fields. Marquette struck quickly with Mateo Stoka intercepting a pass just outside the Golden Grizzlies box less than two minutes into the match. A one-two with Mads Konrad Horgøien and Stoka ripped a left-footed shot past the Oakland keeper.
