Men鈥檚 Soccer starts 2026 season with 2-1 victory over Florida National
HIALEAH, Fla. | Florida Memorial University started its season with a bang, by defeating Florida National in the season opener 2-1 at Henry Milander Park - Ted Hendricks Stadium. The Lions were down early in the match, but battled through to control the final 50 minutes to start 1-0 for the second straight year. FNU got on the board first in the 14th minute, putting the Lions behind early. That changed in the 41st minute, when freshman Gabriel Zapata , assisted by senior Rafael Coronado , found the back of the net to tie the match 1-1 before the half....
