McWhinney鈥檚 Two-Goal Game Secures 3-2 Victory for Army Women鈥檚 Soccer in Home Opener
WEST POINT, N.Y. 鈥� Army West Point women’s soccer picked up its first win of the season Thursday afternoon, holding off a late William & Mary rally for a 3-2 victory at Malek Stadium at Clinton Field. It was the program’s first home win of 2026 and the first-ever win in the newly renovated Malek Stadium. Freshman Kamryn McWhinney scored twice in her first career multi-goal performance, while sophomore Ailyn Rowe notched her first career goal, as the Black Knights improved to 1-2 on the young season in front of a crowd of Army fans who braved the pouring rain.…
