Hughes cracks CFL Scouting Bureau top 20, Wilkins-Flaricee earns honourable mention
WATERLOO, Ont. – Laurier Golden Hawks receiver Ryan Hughes has been recognized as one of the top Canadian university football prospects ahead of the 2027 CFL Draft, earning a spot in the top 20 of the preseason edition of the Canadian Football League (CFL) Scouting Bureau rankings. The fourth-year receiver from Mississauga, Ont., was ranked No. 17 among the 20 prospects named by the bureau, a list compiled by CFL scouts, player personnel directors and general managers from the league’s nine clubs.
