AMHERT, MA – The NJIT women's soccer team dropped their road opener to UMass, 1-0, on Thursday evening. The Minutewoman broke through in the 29th minute and found the back of the net to take an early 1-0 advantage. The Highlanders entered halftime trailing by one before coming out with increased offensive pressure in the second half.
