Football Selected Seventh in Preseason Poll
NEWTOWN, Pa. – Widener Football landed in seventh place in the MAC Commonwealth Coaches’ Preseason Poll, as announced by the conference office on Thursday (Aug. 20). In the poll, Widener received 31 points, placing the Pride between King’s with 48 points and Albright with 27 points. Eastern secured the top spot with 81 points and nine first-place votes, while Delaware Valley followed in second with 66 points.
