Delaware Downs Men鈥檚 Soccer with Late Goal
WASHINGTON (August 20, 2026) 鈥� Howard University men's soccer team kept the high-powered Delaware (UD) Blue Hens off the board for more than 80 minutes, but a late goal in the waning moments downed HU in its season opener, 1-0. At the 82-minute mark, Liam Penny scored the match-winning goal for UD, thanks to assists from Sean Smith and Luke Jones.
