August 20, 2026 CHN Staff Report Wisconsin coach Mike Hastings has brought in Andy Brandt as an assistant coach, rounding out the team's coaching staff. Brandt, a Wisconsin native, played for the Badgers from 2003-07, and played 22 games for the team that won the 2006 national championship. He was briefly on the staff before, when Tony Granato was head coach. Brandt has spent the last three years as head coach of Madison of the USHL.
