Barnett Preseason Offensive Player Of The Year, Cowgirls Picked To Win ASC Soccer
NEW BRAUNFELS, Texas 鈥� Hardin-Simmons’ Cowgirl soccer team was picked to win the 2026 American Southwest Conference championship in the preseason poll, and sophomore Tatum Barnett was named the Preseason Offensive Player of the Year after a vote of the league head coaches and sports information departments. Barnett tied the conference lead with eight goals as a United Soccer Coaches all-region and first-team all-ASC player as a freshman midfielder in 2025. Senior Lexi Templin and junior Taylor Koch were each named ASC preseason players to watch, along with Barnett for Hardin-Simmons. Koch and Templin each scored five goals in 2025…
