AAC picks Cavaliers seventh in preseason poll
CORBIN, Ky. 鈥� The Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) released its Women's Golf Preseason Coaches' Poll on Thursday morning, with the Cavaliers projected to finish seventh during the 2026-27 season. Montreat received 27 points in the voting process, tying Reinhardt University for seventh place. The Cavs finished 10 points ahead of Bryan College and one point behind Spartanburg Methodist College. The University of Pikeville and Truett McConnell University tied for the top spot with 65 points apiece. Pikeville earned four first-place votes, while Truett McConnell received two.
