OMAHA, Neb. - Omaha Men's Soccer will start the season at home with a visit from Eastern Illinois on Thursday, Aug. 20 and FIU on Sunday, Aug. 23. The Mavericks have an 11-0-2 record against EIU and a 0-2 record against FIU. Last season, FIU won 4-1 in Miami, Fla. Omaha and EIU have not met since 2022, when the Mavs won 4-0 in Omaha. This season, the Mavericks have 19 newcomers including six freshmen. Omaha returns senior forward Italo Jenkins (Atlanta, Ga.) and senior midfielder Brett Perkinds (Gretna, Neb.).
