The Syracuse Orange took home the 3-1 win against Holy Cross for their first win of the year. Vickie Jones led the Orange with two goals in the win. Jones opened the scoring just before the half in the 44th minute. After giving up a goal in the 66th minute, 'Cuse would strike back almost a minute later when Jasmine Nixon found the back of the net, which proved to be the game-winner. Jones' second goal came in the 70th to shut the door on any potential comeback. Here is the game replay.
