Kayla Schmidt has been named assistant coach ahead of the 2026-27 season, head coach Nick Wilson announced Tuesday. "I'm thrilled to have Kayla join our coaching staff. She's been an exceptional athlete and leader throughout her collegiate career at both Canisius and Loyola, and she's always had a tremendous passion for the sport. Her experience as a captain, along with her background in exercise science, coaching, and sports performance, gives her a great foundation to begin her coaching career.
