Central Tabbed Fifth In MIAA Preseason Poll
KANSAS CITY, Mo. 鈥� Central Oklahoma was picked fifth in the MIAA Women's Soccer Preseason Coaches' Poll, the league announced Wednesday. Washburn was picked was narrowly picked first with seven first-place votes and defending champion Pittsburg State was second with six first-place votes. Central Missouri and Missouri Western were third and fourth in front of the Bronchos. UCO went 9-6-5 overall and 6-3-3 in league play to finish sixth in the standings last season before winning a pair of matches in the MIAA Women's Soccer Championship to reach the final.
