Ball Makes ERAU History at U.S. Amateur
ARDMORE, Pa. 鈥� Ian Ball made history for Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University at the 126th U.S. Amateur Championship, becoming the first ERAU student-athlete to compete in the prestigious event which was held on Aug. 10-16. The Port Orange, Fla. native took on the championship's 36-hole stroke-play portion at the par 70 Merion Golf Club in Ardmore, Pa., competing against the top amateur golfers in the world.
