2026 Volleyball Preview: Pekin looking to grow with young squad
PEKIN 鈥� After graduating a large class of seven seniors last season, the Pekin Dragons volleyball team has many holes to fill this fall. The Dragons return only three varsity starters after a 10-win season and the team hopes to reload and spark a renewed effort with fresh faces on the squad. Twenty-seventh year head coach Yvonne Thopmson has plenty of experience to make this possible. Plus, her players believe this is the closest Pekin鈥檚 varsity volleyball team has bonded in years.
