The PNJ has created a poll for the preseason high school volleyball player of the year. Fifteen players from the Pensacola area have been nominated for the award. Voting is open to the public until 12 p.m. CT on August 25. This preseason poll will not affect the end-of-season all-area awards. Yesterday, the PNJ released a list of 30 Pensacola area high school volleyball players to watch as the 2026 season gets underway this week.
