LONG BEACH, Calif. -- Long Beach State goalkeeper Aurora Schuck has been named The Big West Defensive Player of the Week, the conference announced Monday. Schuck earns the first defensive weekly honor of the 2026 season after helping the Beach open the year unbeaten with a pair of shutouts. Schuck played all 180 minutes in goal as Long Beach State went 1-0-1 without allowing a goal. She finished the week with five saves.
