Matthews named to 2026 Black College Football Player of the Year Watch List

(August 18, 2026) 鈥� The Black College Football Hall of Fame (BCFHOF) announced the 2026 Watch List for the Black College Football Player of the Year Award, presented annually to the most outstanding football player from a Historically Black College & University (HBCU). Virginia State University redshirt-sophomore quarterback Rahsaan Matthews Jr. has earned a spot on this year's prestigious watch list.
