Women鈥檚 Tennis: Women鈥檚 Tennis: Eight Hawks Named Scholar Athletes, Team Named All-Academic Team
GILBERT, Ariz. 鈥� The Roger Williams University Women’s Tennis team was named to the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) All-Academic Team, while eight student-athletes were awarded with Scholar-Athlete distinction. To be named an ITA All-Academic Team a program must have a 3.2 GPA or higher for the academic year among all student-athletes. To be an ITA Scholar-Athlete, a student-athlete must hold a 3.5 GPA for the academic year and be eligible on the team’s roster.
