USD鈥檚 Chloe Walls Named WCC Defensive Player of the Week
SAN BRUNO, Calif. 鈥� San Diego redshirt sophomore goalkeeper Chloe Walls has been named the WCC Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week for Aug. 17, 2026, the West Coast Conference announced on Monday afternoon. Walls turned aside four shots, including a 41st-minute penalty kick, to preserve a clean sheet in USD's lone match of the week. The Toreros drew Cal State Fullerton 0-0 in their Aug. 12 season opener at Torero Stadium, extending their non-conference unbeaten streak to 11 matches dating back to 2024.
