Sanabria Earns First UAC Defensive Player of the Week Honor
CARROLLTON, Ga.- Sophomore goalkeeper Emily Sanabria earned the first United Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Week award of the 2026 season following a strong opening week between the posts for the Wolves. Sanabria opened the season with a record-setting performance against Jacksonville State, making 12 saves in UWG's 1-1 draw. The 12 saves marked the most by a West Georgia goalkeeper in a season opener during the program's Division I era.
