Russell Garners USTFCCCA All-Academic Athlete Distinction, Men鈥檚 Track and Field Named All-Academic Team
Patrick Russell has been named a United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic Athlete, the organization announced. The Saints men’s track and field program was also recognized as a USTFCCCA All-Academic Team after posting a cumulative team GPA of 3.33. To earn individual All-Academic distinction, athletes must meet the USTFCCCA’s academic and athletic performance standards, reflecting excellence both in the classroom and in competition. The team honor is awarded to programs that reach a cumulative GPA of at least 3.1 on a 4.0 scale among all student-athletes who competed during a season of eligibility.
