Marcello Receives NEC Co-Defensive Player of the Week
BRIDGEWATER, N.J. 鈥� Junior goalkeeper Abigail Marcello was named NEC Co-Defensive Player of the Week and an NEC Prime Performer, the conference announced Monday. Marcello totaled 15 saves across Wagner's opening two contests, highlighted by a career-high 12 saves in Sunday's 2-1 victory over Monmouth. Marcello faced 28 shots from the Hawks, making five saves in the first half and seven in the second to help the Seahawks earn their first win over Monmouth in program history.
