RALEIGH, N.C. – NC State junior quarterback CJ Bailey was named to the preseason watch list for the 2026 Walter Camp Player of the Year. This is Bailey's second preseason watch list selection, as he was also tabbed to the Maxwell Award watch list earlier this summer. The Walter Camp Football Foundation announced 50 "players to watch" for its 2026 Player of the Year award, the nation's fourth-oldest individual college football accolade.
