Aiken boys basketball stars leave for prep school in Oklahoma
Two rising seniors for Aiken High School's boys basketball program have left for prep school. Chris Washington Jr. and Kevin Blye have both left Aiken for South Central Prep, a prep school in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Both announced their decisions Aug. 3. Washington averaged 19.8 points, 6.6 rebounds and 6.7 assists as a do-everything guard for the Falcons, who were 13-12 last season. He made 43 3-pointers at 39% accuracy and also averaged 2.4 steals per contest. He had transferred to Aiken after two seasons at Purcell Marian.
