The Montgomery Advertiser asked its readers which AHSAA private school football team had the best chances of winning a state title in the 2026 season. The AHSAA split member private and public schools for postseason play in January for the 2026-2028 reclassification period. The poll opened on Sunday, Aug. 9, and ran until Thursday, Aug. 13, with readers given the opportunity to vote once per hour.
