UTRGV Men鈥檚 Basketball Reveals 2026-27 Schedule; Season Kicks Off Nov. 2
RIO GRANDE VALLEY 鈥� The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Department of Intercollegiate Athletics announced on Friday the 2026-27 season schedule for the Vaqueros men’s basketball team, which is set to open Nov. 2 against Texas A&M-Kingsville at the UTRGV Fieldhouse. The Vaqueros are coming off back-to-back winning seasons for the first time since 1988-90 and won a program-record 14 conference games in 2025-26 as they earned the No. 3 seed in the Southland Conference (SLC) Tournament.
