Women’s Soccer Opens Season With 1-1 Draw at Purdue
EVANSVILLE, Ind. – The University of Evansville women's soccer team opened their season on Thursday morning with a strong road result, picking up a 1-1 draw at Purdue. Senior Brooklyn Robinson (West Haven, Utah/Fremont) scored the first goal of the season for the Purple Aces, netting the equalizer in the 47 th minute. Transfer goalkeeper Bri Chirpich (Gladstone, Mo./Hawaii) was stellar in her Evansville debut, making nine saves, the most by an Aces keeper since 2024 and the most by an Ace in their debut since at least 2005.
