Whitefish Bay to play for spot in Little League World Series
Milwaukee Journal Sentinel No Wisconsin team has ever made it to the Little League World Series. Whitefish Bay is one step away from becoming the first. As the Wisconsin champion, Whitefish Bay defeated Missouri, 9-4, on Thursday, Aug. 13 to advance to the Midwest Region final in Whitestown, Indiana. It'll play Iowa at noon CT on Friday, Aug. 14 in the regional final, televised on ESPN. The Little League World Series starts Aug. 19 in Williamsport, Pennsylvania.
