LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Shorter Softball team was recognized Wednesday for its academic success, tying for 15th in the NFCA Team GPA rankings with a 3.72 team GPA. The recognition marks the Hawks' second consecutive year finishing among the top 25 nationally. Shorter climbed 10 spots from last season after finishing tied for 25th a year ago. In addition to the team's recognition, 18 Hawks earned NFCA Scholar-Athlete honors.
