Lancers Drop Season Opener to Campbell, 2-0
FARMVILLE, Va. 鈥� Campbell scored once in each half and held the Longwood women's soccer team scoreless Thursday night, defeating the Lancers 2-0 in the season opener at Longwood Athletics Complex. Avery Garrett put Campbell ahead in the 40th minute, scoring the first goal of the season off a chance that gave the Camels a 1-0 lead heading into halftime.
