Grinnell softball team, 16 players honored for academics by NFCA
Team Academic Winners Individual Academic Winners GRINNELL, Iowa – Grinnell College’s softball squad has captured Easton/National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Team Academic honors for the 2026 season, posting the 17th-best GPA in all of NCAA Division III. The award is given to programs that have a 3.00 or better combined grade point average. Grinnell accumulated a team GPA of 3.707. The Pioneers also had 16 players named NCAA D-III Easton/NFCA Scholar-Athlete honors for posting GPAs of 3.5 or higher in 2025-26.
