Cowgirls Picked Second In ASC Volleyball Poll
NEW BRAUNFELS, Texas 鈥� Hardin-Simmons’ Cowgirl volleyball team was picked to finish second in the 2026 American Southwest Conference volleyball preseason poll, announced on Thursday after a vote of the league head coaches and sports information directors. The Cowgirls picked up 53 points in the poll, trailing East Texas Baptist with 72 points and 12 first-place votes. Mary Hardin-Baylor was picked third with 47 points, Schreiner at No. 4 with 37 points, followed by (5) McMurry at 24 points, and (6) Howard Payne with 19 points.
