Camels blank Longwood 2-0 in season opener
FARMVILLE, Va. 鈥� Campbell women's soccer opened its 2026 campaign with a 2-0 win over Longwood on Thursday night at Longwood Athletics Complex. With the win, the Camels secure its first season opener since the 2018 season after defeating South Carolina State 4-1 on opening night. Campbell (1-0) controlled much of the first half with eight shots and six corners. Avery Garrett found the back of the net in the 40 minute on a second chance opportunity for the Camels first goal of the season.
