Aniceto Hired as Assistant Women鈥檚 Basketball Coach
The St. Lawrence University women’s basketball team has added Hope Aniceto to the coaching staff. Joining veteran head coach Chris Downs as his graduate assistant coach beginning in the 2026-27 season. Aniceto joins the Scarlet and Brown after wrapping up a decorated four-year career at SUNY Canton as a four-year starter. “Hope has an infectious personality,” said Saints head coach Chris Downs. “She is competitive, smart, driven, and is a tremendous hire for the women’s basketball team.
