Owls Fall Late to Texas A&M
HOUSTON – The Rice soccer team dropped their season opening game to Texas A&M 2-1 Wednesday night at Holloway Field, after a late penalty kick gave the Aggies the lead in the final 10 minutes of the match. How It Happened The Owls had chances early, with Lauren Pickup firing a shot that just got saved off the keeper's hand and crossbar to keep things scoreless.
