Lowndes hosts 鈥淢eet the Vikings鈥� Thursday
Published 10:33 am Wednesday, August 12, 2026 VALDOSTA 鈥� With victories over Veterans High School out of Warner Robins Friday, the Lowndes Vikings have officially concluded the preseason. The varsity squad defeated Veterans 28-0 in a half of play, while the young Vikings followed with a 14-0 victory in the second half. With the preseason game, opening of school, and padded camps now in the rearview mirror, the Vikings now turn their attention to 鈥淢eet the Vikings鈥� and the opening of the regular season.
