Louisville Drops Season Opener to Nebraska
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Louisville women's soccer team (0-1-0) dropped its season opener by a score of 3-1 to Nebraska Wednesday night at Dr. Mark & Cindy Lynn Stadium. Nebraska (1-0-0) struck early with a goal in the third minute of the contest. Forward Nathalie Lewis got loose on a breakaway and scored the Cornhuskers opening goal of the match. In the 26th minute, Nebraska was awarded a penalty after the Cards committed a foul in the box.
