Logan Paczewski Makes History At 126th United States Amateur Championship
Haverford Township, PA - On Monday and Tuesday, incoming fifth-year transfer Logan Paczewski made history at the 126th United States Amateur Championship at Philadelphia Country Club and Merion Golf Club, becoming the third Explorer to compete in the prestigious event and just the second to do so while attending La Salle. Paczewski carded matching rounds of 73 to finish tied for 142nd in the 312-player field. Paczewski made two birdies in each round, including a birdie on the 397-yard seventh hole at Philadelphia Country Club, where his three-man group combined to play the hole at 4-under.
