It was a busy year for the McGill Medicine alum: he was a Super Bowl champion in February, opted out of the NFL season in July to care for COVID patients and by December was named a Sports Illustrated Sportsperson of the Year.He later returned to the NFL to play two seasons with the New York Jets before retiring in 2023.
