Dukes Fall in Season Opener
Pittsburgh, Pa. 鈥� The Duquesne University women's soccer team dropped its 2026 season opener Wednesday, falling 3-1 at Eastern Michigan. POINTS OF EMPHASIS Duquesne struck first in the 12th minute when senior Jayden Sharpless converted a penalty kick to give the Dukes a 1-0 lead. Eastern Michigan answered six minutes later to even the score at 1-1, which held through halftime.
