ATLANTA – University of Memphis football student-athlete Donovan Mathena was named to the 2026 Allstate Wuerffel Trophy Watch List, the Wuerffel Foundation announced on Tuesday. Mathena, a redshirt senior from Collierville, Tennessee, finds himself on the watch list for the second season in a row after earning a spot on the 2025 AFCA Allstate Good Works Team. Mathena's 38 games played in the blue and gray are matched by his continued commitment off the field in volunteering in the Memphis area.
