Harris Advances at U.S. Amateur
The Chattanooga Mocs sent two to Philadelphia, Pa., for the 126th United States Amateur. The duo of senior Ward Harris and sophomore Evan Rogers competed over 36 holes of medal play over Monday and Tuesday; first at Philadelphia Country Club and then at famed Merion Golf Club. Harris claimed a coveted top 64 spot to move onto match play. He shot 68 on day one and followed with 73 today for a 1-over par 141.
