Danville, Ky. – Centre Athletics has named Ashton Whitt ’24 as its new Head Coach of Men’s Tennis. Whitt takes over for Rich Benson, who departed the college over the summer. Whitt joins the coaching ranks after a stellar playing career at Centre. As a student-athlete, Whitt was named 1st Team All-SAA as a freshman in 2021 and an ITA Scholar Athlete. He would go on to garner 2nd Team honors in 2022 and 2024 in singles competition. He graduated from Centre in 2024 with a major in Physics and minor in Computer Science. He carried a 3.85 GPA while…
