ARLINGTON, Texas – UT Arlington Men's Golf has signed its fourth transfer, bringing in Sawyer Chamblee as the team's sixth newcomer. Chamblee — a native of Ahoskie, North Carolina — joins the Mavericks as a redshirt Sophomore. Chamblee began his collegiate career with the Liberty Flames. The then-freshman spent the 2024-25 season at Liberty, but did not compete in any tournaments. Chamblee then took a gap year for the 2025-26 season. While attending Ridgecroft School in Ahoskie, Chamblee competed in soccer and basketball in addition to golf.
