PRINCESS ANNE, Md. — The University of Maryland Eastern Shore announced the addition of Edgar Vanegas to Hawks' baseball coaching staff ahead of the 2027 season. Edgar Vanegas joins the UMES baseball program after spending the 2025-26 season as an assistant baseball coach at Greenbrier High School in Greenbrier, Tennessee. In that role, Vanegas assisted with daily practice planning, drill execution and individualized player development while providing instruction on mechanics, fundamentals and game awareness.
